Sami marries her cute car guy

WITH eight bridesmaids and 13 dogs, Coast radio personality Samille Muirhead wed her "cute car guy" under the shade of a 200-year-old fig tree.

WITH eight bridesmaids and 13 dogs, Coast radio personality Samille Muirhead wed her "cute car guy" under the shade of a 200-year-old fig tree.

Samille walked, well, was dragged down the aisle with her father Lex by two enormous great danes to meet her husband Sam Bohner for what was a touching, moving and hilarious ceremony as celebrant Julie Elliot competed for attention and volume from the veritable menagerie of poodles, shih tzus, beagles and miscellaneous other canines who helped Sami and Sam celebrate their big day.

The entire wedding had Sami’s fingerprints all over it with her favourite style, Shabby Chic, making up the event’s decorative theme.

But when it came down to it, the day was all about the young couple who began their courtship after meeting through work.

As he swallowed back tears Sam declared his love for Samille in front of more than 200 guests by telling her he couldn’t wait to spend the rest of his life holding her hand.

The all-day event, which had a Great Gatsby theme, included games of Boche, croquet and in Anzac Day tradition a boisterous game of two up hosted by fellow radio personality Nathan ‘Nugget’ Dell.

The weather forecast for the day had predicted showers but the sun stayed throughout the event and when night fell guests were treated to a spectacular fireworks finale.
