Two people were rushed to hospital following a crash on the Sunshine Coast overnight.
Emergency services attended a two car crash at Landsborough just before 9pm on Tuesday.
One man and woman were rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in stable conditions following the crash on Kowald Road and Tunnel Ridge Road.
A QAS spokeswoman said one person suffered a facial injury.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said one crew attended at 9.40pm.
Police also attended.
Tuesday – Man flown to safety after offshore helicopter rescue
A man has been winched to safety after suffering a medical incident on a bulk carrier of the Sunshine Coast.
The LifeFlight aeromedical crew flew to the anchored ship about 15km east of Currimundi at 11.30am on Tuesday, November 26, after reports a man in his 60s fell ill.
A Queensland Ambulance Service paramedic and a LifeFlight rescue crewman were both winched down to the ship to treat the patient, before all three were winched safely back to the hospital.
The man was flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
Emergency crews rush to two-car crash on busy road
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash at an intersection in Doonan on Tuesday afternoon, which caused one car to roll over and left a man in hospital.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said emergency crews were alerted to the crash about 2.50pm and arrived shortly after, about 3pm.
The incident occurred at the intersection of Eumundi-Noosa Rd and Lenehans Lane.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the drivers, two men with one aged in his 50s, were looked over by paramedics.
The QAS spokesman said one car rolled in the crash.
“They’re both out of their vehicles without any significant injuries,” the spokesman said.
One of the men was taken to Nambour Hospital in a stable condition.
