A LUXURY six-bedroom waterfront home at Pelican Waters has been sold to a Sydney buyer, smashing the $3 million barrier to set a new suburb record.
Henzells agent Lucas Jeffries said the multi-award winning property on prestigious Rainbow Lane epitomised the finest in palatial, resort-style living.
The home had been listed since 2015, passing through three different agencies before landing on Mr Jeffries' books in December last year.
He's yet to divulge the sale price, however confirmed the vendor's expectations had been in the high $3 millions and they were satisfied with the result.

The sale has eclipsed the previous record of $3 million paid for a four-bedroom home on Pelican Waters Blvd in November 2019.
"In the end it was a very smooth sale, the buyers were always good to deal with,'' he said.
"There was plenty of interest in the home with backup buyers from south of Brisbane and NSW also ready to move."
Mr Jeffries said the prestige home market on the southern Sunshine Coast continued to defy broader economic conditions by performing extremely well.
"Pelican Waters and the southern Sunshine Coast in general has been stronger this past three months than the 12 months prior," he said.
"In this current climate, the confidence and resilience has been exceptional."
The HIA Sunshine Coast Home of the Year occupies a prime 1180sq m site including 67m of absolute canal frontage and large private pontoon for boating access to Pumicestone Passage and Caloundra headland.
It features boardwalk entry, stepping stones and designer pavilion framing a private beach.
A network of paths and bridges over pools and ponds create a feeling of five-star luxury.

The spacious double-storey layout offers six deluxe bedrooms, most with water views, including lower guest accommodation and stunning apartment style master suite with kitchenette, ensuite, dressing room and balcony.
The new owners will also enjoy their own private theatre, executive office, gymnasium, 1000L marine aquarium, 12-person spa, daybed and garden islands, bar with beer on tap, teppanyaki cooking and dining area, terrace and outdoor lounge.
The sale is a career highlight for Mr Jeffries, 24, who dreamt he would one day sell the property after spotting it driving around Pelican Waters with his partner after first joining Henzells in 2019.
"To take on a property like that, to do the property justice and get the job done, it feels very rewarding,'' he said.
