The Sunshine Coast Daily took a look at this year’s highest sales in 60 suburbs, from Beerwah to Tewantin, worth a combined $160 million.

Therese Rein's posh villa on Sunshine Beach was the most expensive house being sold on the Sunshine Coast and Noosa last year, changing hands at a sweet $17 million.

The Sunshine Coast Daily took a look at this year's highest sales in 60 suburbs, from Beerwah to Tewantin, worth a combined $160 million.

The data, by CoreLogic, showed the former first lady and successful businesswoman bought the glamorous seven-bedroom, five-bathroom property, which was once owned by tennis champ Pat Rafter, in May for $3 million under the asking price of $20 million.

 

46 Seaview Terrace, Sunshine Beach, was by far the most expensive house being sold in 2020.

 

Retail precinct developers and owners Danny and Kylee Burke snapped up the second highest sale - a four-bedroom, three-bathroom house on the river in Noosa Heads, costing $11.25 million in June.

The third highest sale was another exquisite property in Sunrise Beach, which went for $8.6 million in January.

The one-storey house on 1729sq m, including a massive water slide, went to Dorchester Investments, a company which is directed by mining chief executive Darian Hielscher.
