Two people suffered “significant injuries” in a Cootharaba collision on Sunday morning, with paramedics and emergency crews rushing to the scene.
A Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) spokeswoman said paramedics were called to the scene shortly after 7am, responding to what was described as a “high mechanism crash” on Louis Bazzo Dr and Cootharaba Downs Rd.
She confirmed a female patient sustained a wrist injury, while a male patient suffered chest and neck injuries.
“The injuries were fairly significant,” the spokeswoman said.
Both patients were transported in stable conditions.
The Queensland Police Service and Queensland Fire Department also attended the scene, with the QFD providing support for about half an hour to assist QAS.
