Sunshine Coast police probe serious assault in Nambour car park
A police probe continues into a Sunshine Coast car park hit and run as detectives wait to speak to the victim with serious injuries.

Sunshine Coast police are continuing a probe into a Sunshine Coast car park hit and run that left a man in hospital.
Emergency services were called to a car park in Currie St, Nambour, on Monday night, November 6.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said an initial investigation indicated about 7.15pm, two men started arguing in the car park.
“One of the men was in a vehicle at the time of the altercation and struck the other man who was standing nearby,” he said.
Sunshine Coast Criminal Investigation Branch Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Mansfield said an investigation continued.
“The victim is still unable to be spoken to properly due to his injuries,” he said.
The police spokesman said a 34-year-old man received non-life threatening injuries in the incident.
Paramedics rushed the man to the Nambour Hospital with serious head and chest injuries.
Police continue to hunt for the driver and the car.
Detectives declared a crime scene and are examining CCTV of the incident.
The police spokesman said an investigation continued and anyone with information should come forward.
