Four people were taken to hospital following a two-car crash in Coolum Beach overnight.
Emergency services were called to the crash on Yandina Coolum Rd, near Barns Lane, at Coolum Beach about 7.50pm on August 10.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said initial investigations showed it was a collision at that intersection between a Hyundai Getz, driven by an 18-year-old girl from Coolum Beach, and a Toyota HiLux ute driven by a 27-year-old Buddina man.
Paramedics took three teenagers and an adult woman to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, all in stable conditions.
One teenage girl had suspected spinal injuries, another teenage girl had facial injuries and the third teenage girl had back pain.
The adult had no obvious injuries.
Police are investigating and appealing for anyone who saw the crash to come forward.
Fireys battle car blaze in home driveway
Firefighters have rushed to a car on fire in a driveway of a Sunshine Coast home.
A Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said firefighters were called to a home in Moriac St, Currimundi, just after 5am on August 9 because a car was “well alight” in the driveway.
He said the home was not under threat and the car was fully extinguished by 6am.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers were investigating and the fire was not believed to be suspicious at this stage.
