Bail objection documents tendered to the court state Sunshine Coast detectives apprehended Beissel at Aussie World about 9pm on March 12, following police intelligence of drug activity.

Court documents state during a search of his vehicle police allegedly found 8g of cocaine, 16g of ice, testosterone and prescription drugs, scales and two mobile phones.

He was arrested and taken into custody due to being on parole, however was charged with trafficking meth, cannabis and cocaine on May 2 after his phones were analysed.

Sergeant Grigoris further alleged there were photos of the 23-year-old with large amounts of cash, drugs and also videos of a cannabis growing facilities.

The court heard tick sheets located which allegedly revealed the Mooloolah Valley man had $66,000 owed to him in debts, and messages where he said he had $55,000 in cash and would get $70,000 after chasing the debts owed to him by selling more drugs.

She alleged more messages showed the 23-year-old and another were obtaining and trafficking over two kilogram quantities of meth and cocaine.

“He had a business plan where he would go to the Gold Coast every two weeks and obtain half a kilogram of cocaine to sell,” Sergeant Grigoris alleged.

“There were messages which indicated that he would also obtain half a kilogram for over $100,000 and a full kilogram for $205,000 … which shows the large scale operation that he had running at the time.”

Sergeant Grigoris said Beissel was also on parole during the alleged trafficking periods and had a lengthy criminal history for a young man.

The court heard Beissel had been in custody since his arrest seven months ago, and appeared in court by video from jail.

Police alleged in court documents despite the birth of the Mooloolah Valley man’s child, he continued to use drugs and commit offences.

Defence lawyer Trent Playford agreed Beissel’s criminal history went against him, but instead suggested the 23-year-old be bailed to live in a private live in residential rehab. Mr Playford submitted Beissel’s alleged dealing was driven by drug addiction.

The solicitor said the Mooloolah Valley man could abide by any bail conditions imposed by the court.

Magistrate Rod Madsen however was not swayed and refused Beissel’s bail. His matters were adjourned to November 15. No pleas have been entered.
