Mr Coburn told the court the alleged victim is a German national who had now returned to their home country, thus reducing the risk of the two accused men contacting the man.

Mr Cramp is a young man with no criminal history and is employed as a carpenter at Noosa, Mr Coburns said.

Court documents show that police allege Mr Brown and Mr Cramp assaulted a man in Marcoola on February 10, 2024.
