More details have emerged after a man’s body was found by members of the public in a park in Nambour.
Police were called to Petrie Creek near Price St after a member of the public discovered the body about 8.15am on Thursday.
Initial investigations suggest the person who was found in Petrie Creek was a man in his 50s who lived locally.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said investigations had started but they believed the death was not suspicious.
