A glamorous Towen Mountain woman has had an acrimonious break up with a man she met online after trashing his home with wine, cheese and toiletries.

Mya Crysta Tuise Dixon, 29, had flown to meet her new beau in Townsville after he arranged her flights following a connection on social media.

Maroochydore Magistrates Court heard the victim left for work on September 9, 2022 and left Dixon inside his home but when he returned about 4.30pm the same day, the situation had deteriorated.

Police prosecutor Brendan Newman said the 29-year-old accompanied him inside where he found cheese and other bits of food on the floor, which was described as “mess everywhere”.

Sergeant Newman said red wine stains were seen in the living area, on the ceiling and in cupboards, with smashed glass evident in the kitchen along with condiments and sauces splattered on the bench and in the victim’s bed.

The court heard toiletries were all over the ceiling as well.

The victim began cleaning up and demanded Dixon leave before he called the police who arrived and arrested the Towen Mountain, but she later obstructed officers.

Duty lawyer Ben Rynderman said the pair had a “brief liaison” in Townsville and had only arranged to meet for a few days.

Mr Rynderman said the relationship was “fleeting in nature” and was instructed by Dixon that she was heavily drunk at the time.

The court was told she arranged to pay $1600 in damages and had already paid $130 towards that.

Dixon pleaded guilty to wilful damage and obstruct police and was placed on a $1000 good behaviour bond for 12 months.

No conviction was recorded.
