A cyclist is in a serious condition after he was found unconscious on the side of the road in Maroochydore.
Paramedics were called to Millwell Rd and Evans St after a member of the public made the startling discovery about 8.05am on Saturday.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the man in his 30s was found unconscious with serious head and leg injuries, with the circumstances of the incident to be investigated.
He was rushed Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
