Man treated for serious but stable injuries after Tinbeerwah crash

Emergency crews were called to the Noosa hinterland following a serious single motorcycle crash which left a man needing urgent treatment.

A man in his 50s has been rushed to hospital after a serious single motorcycle crash in the Noosa hinterland.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man was riding his motorcycle when the crash happened about 3.45pm on Sunrise Rd, Tinbeerwah on Monday, September 5, 2022.

She said the man was being treated by paramedics, including the critical care team.

He was being taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition following the crash.

It comes as paramedics were also called to Sunshine Beach about 3.40pm on Monday after a car and bicycle crash on Crank and Duke St left one person needing treatment.

The person has been taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
