Man arrested, another in hospital after alleged stabbing in Nambour
Police have found and arrested a man at a park after another man allegedly suffered multiple wounds in a stabbing in a Sunshine Coast suburb.

A man has been rushed to hospital with multiple wounds following an alleged stabbing in a main street of a Sunshine Coast suburb.
The alleged incident occurred on Currie Street in Nambour about 2.30pm on Tuesday, June 24, a Queensland Ambulance post revealed.
A person suffered multiple wounds in the stabbing and they were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a potentially life-threatening condition, the post read.
A Queensland Police spokesman said a man has since been taken into custody, after emergency services were called to a venue over reports of a man having been stabbed.
Police alleged a second man involved ran from the scene, and was located by officers at Petrie Park about 3.45pm.
It is believed the men are known to each other and investigations are ongoing.
Anyone with information or vision regarding the incident is urged to contact police.
The spokesman reported the man’s injuries were non-life threatening.
A Queensland spokeswoman said the man, whose age is unknown at this stage, suffered wounds to the head.
The area has been taped off by police and the Commercial Hotel Nambour appears to have closed.
Multiple police crews could be seen scouring Short St behind the Commercial Hotel whilst bystanders have rushed to see the commotion.
