A Banya man’s red lingerie is allegedly at the centre of a police investigation after he was accused of plying a teenager with drugs before indecently touching them.

Kade Devon Abdy is currently in custody after being refused bail last week for allegedly supplying cocaine and LSD to a child and raping them.

The 39-year-old applied for bail in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on three counts of aggravated supply of drugs to a minor, two counts of indecent treatment, and one of assault, dangerous operation of a vehicle and rape.

Court documents state Abdy allegedly supplied the child with LSD twice and cocaine once late last year.

Detectives also allege the 39-year-old, who is listed as a bartender in court documents, exposed the child to an indecent photograph, indecently dealt with them and raped them.

Abdy was also accused of grabbing the victim by the hair and punching them in the head.

He was arrested on January 31 and was held in custody until his court appearance last week.

Police prosecutor Val Crossley said more charges were expected to be laid against the lawn mowing business operator after police accessed the safe and allegedly found drug-related items at his home.

Acting Senior Sergeant Crossley said analysis of Abdy’s phone allegedly found images and selfies, where the 39-year-old man was wearing G-string underwear and posing in a bedroom, which she claimed collaborated the child’s version of events. She objected to his bail.

Duty lawyer Jamiee Burns said Abdy could abide by strict conditions, and submitted he had no entries on his criminal history since 2008.

Ms Burns said Abdy intended to move away from his current residence and was keen to abide by any bail conditions which included abstaining from narcotics. She was instructed he was not dependent on drugs.

Magistrate Rod Madsen said the videos allegedly uncovered from the child’s phone by police showed the child to snort cocaine. On another occasion police allege they discovered a video of Abdy “showing off” by driving dangerously in the 39-year-old’s Tesla along Aura Blvd at Banya.

Mr Madsen said during a search of Abdy’s home they allegedly uncovered red lingerie which the child claimed to police the 39-year-old wears.

His bail was refused. Abdy will next appear in court on March 10.
