Former radio host Peter Lang accused of rape, child abuse offences
The next steps in the case against a former Sunshine Coast radio host facing multiple allegations of rape and abuse involving children can now be revealed.

A former media presenter and fundraising personality who is facing 20 allegations of committing child abuse offences and a further two charges of rape will return to court in the new year to stand trial.
Sunshine Coast man Peter Lang, 65, faces a slew of charges including 11 of carnal knowledge of a child under 16, two of indecent treatment of a girl under 16, seven of indecent treatment of a child under 14 and two charges of rape.
He has not entered pleas.
Mr Lang had a long career in Queensland media, including working in radio at 92.7 MixFM on the Sunshine Coast.
It was previously reported he was involved in starting a charity.
He will return to the Maroochydore District Court where his trial is scheduled to begin on March 4, 2024.
