A young Narangba man charged with the alleged murder of Feebie McIntosh has had his court matter adjourned for two months.

Police charged Bradley Ian Cotten, 30, with murder following the death of Ms McIntosh, 25, at Dicky Beach on Friday, May 27, 2022.

Cotten was denied police bail and did not appear in person or via video when the matter was mentioned at Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Saturday.

Defence lawyer Alan Phillips of Phillips Crawford Lawyers and police prosecutor Sergeant Brendan Newman agreed to adjourn the matter until July 29, 2022, for committal.

Police made the arrest in relation to Ms McIntosh’s death on Friday around 4.20pm at Sippy Downs.

Police believe the tragedy unfolded just after 9am on Friday, May 27, when a “disturbance” occurred at a home on Coolum St, Dicky Beach.

Officers rushed to the property where Ms McIntosh allegedly suffered a gunshot wound to the head after a disturbance.

Sunshine Coast District Detective Inspector Dave Drinnen on Friday described the incident as “tragic”.

“She received injuries to the head area,” Insp Drinnen said.

Friends have described Ms McIntosh as a “caring” young woman.
