Police have revealed information after a Sunshine Coast break-in, the latest in a string across the region.

The Queensland Police Service released an image of a man they would like to speak to following a break-in about 3.40am in Eyrie Terrace, Coolum Beach, on October 4.

The homeowner, who wanted to remain anonymous, said the incident occurred when a man entered through a door that would usually automatically lock.

Police said no items were stolen and nothing was damaged.

An investigation continues and anyone who recognises the man in the image, or has further information, is urged to contact police.

No charges have been laid.

The emergence of the Coolum Beach footage is the latest in a string of separate break-ins caught on camera across the region.

Masked thieves have also targeted homes in Bokarina, stealing children’s birthday money and a car while a family slept just metres away.

In that footage, the thieves can be seen jiggling with the lock on a door before breaking into the home.
