A rescue helicopter has airlifted a motorcyclist to hospital following a serious crash in the Sunshine Coast hinterland.
Paramedics and police were called to the crash on Maleny Kenilworth Rd near Conondale about 11.15am.
A LifeFlight spokeswoman said it was believed the man was riding with a group of motorcyclists when he crashed into the back of a car, which was attempting to turn onto the road from a private property.
The rescue helicopter was called just before midday and the pilot landed the aircraft near the scene of the incident.
A critical care doctor and flight paramedic met with paramedics on scene to treat the patient.
The man, aged in his 60s, was flown to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with pelvic injuries.
