An ex-Currimundi driving teacher who would have “dinner and sex” dates with her former lover has been arrested by police multiple times for trespassing and visiting his home unannounced.
Cindy Lee Browne, 51, was handed a probation order for her persistent offending against her ex-lover, where she trespassed at his home and continued to visit despite bail conditions telling her not to go there.
Caloundra Magistrates Court heard the Currimundi woman trespassed at his home about 3.45am on May 18, 2022 before returning several times and sending hundreds of messages between May 20-21, 2022.
The Currimundi mother would continue to return over those days, at one point trying to open the man’s door about 6am on May 21, 2022.
Police prosecutor Stephen Potter said she continued to send the man hundreds of message and later told police “her home was wherever he is”.
Solicitor Michael Robinson said Browne had been in a “casual sexual relationship” after meeting the man in 2018, where she would come to his place during the week for “dinner and sex”.
“It was a relationship based entirely on sex,” he said.
Mr Robinson said the 51-year-old former driving teacher and aspiring tax agent had taken the relationship breakdown hard.
He told the court Currimundi mum had been in a car accident and would be undergoing surgery to deal with her chronic pain.
The court heard Browne had been charged with stalking and entering a premise to commit an indictable offence however these charges were dropped.
Browne pleaded guilty to four counts of breaching bail and trespass and was sentenced to seven months’ probation.
No conviction was recorded.
