A Maroochydore woman who spat at a police officer while on a night out in Mooloolaba will have to wait until November to be sentenced.
Casey Brown, 20, pleaded guilty in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday, October 11, to public nuisance, obstructing a police officer while adversely affected and seriously assaulting a police officer by spitting at him while adversely affected in a public place.
Magistrate Haydn Stjernqvist said Brown was near Taps Mooloolaba when she assaulted the police officer.
He adjourned the matter for six weeks to allow Brown to get legal aid.
Brown, who remains on bail, will next appear before Maroochydore Magistrates Court on November 23.
