Police will prepare a report for the coroner after the body of a 75-year-old man was found in a canal in the Sunshine Coast Region.
Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics assessed the man in a life-threatening condition after he was found in a canal on Baanya St, Wurtulla, at 7.43pm on Saturday.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said police would prepare a report for the coroner following the sudden death of the 75-year-old man at Wurtulla.
The spokeswoman said the death was not suspicious.
