Pedestrian struck by vehicle in ‘serious’ condition
Critical care paramedics have rushed a pedestrian in a serious condition to hospital after he was hit by a car earlier this morning.

CRITICAL care paramedics have rushed a pedestrian in a serious condition to hospital after he was hit by a car earlier this morning.
The pedestrian was struck by the vehicle about 5.20am on Duke St, Sunshine Beach and later taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
He suffered facial and abdominal injuries and was in a serious but stable condition.
A doctor was also on board in the ambulance.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the roads had otherwise been quiet.
