Pedestrian hit by car in Peregian Beach, man in crash in Pomona

In a busy night for Sunshine Coast emergency crews, a woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car and a man was injured in a separate car rollover.

A woman was rushed to hospital after being hit by a car on a busy road in a beachside suburb.

Paramedics took a woman in her 70s to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition with arm and head injuries following a vehicle and pedestrian incident on David Low Way in Peregian Beach at 6pm yesterday, June 12.

In another incident, paramedics also took a man to the same hospital after a car rollover on Reserve and Pioneer streets in Pomona at 9.30pm yesterday, June 12.
