A SUNSHINE Coast man was airlifted by RACQ CareFlight Rescue following a paragliding accident at Rainbow Beach on Monday afternoon.
The man in his 40s suffered suspected spinal and multi-trauma injuries after his paraglider lost lift and dumped him on the beach at around 2pm.
RACQ CareFlight Rescue's Toowoomba-based helicopter airlifted the injured man to the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital.
He travelled in a stable condition.
