NOW is the time for women of Australia to put their names forward for political notoriety.

All of the parties now realise a woman's place is not just confined to the kitchen.

It's going to become one of the deciding factors in the next Federal Election.

The men have realised that the saying "two women can't get on in the kitchen” applies to them also, but in the corridors of Parliament.

The last 10 years have shown men have taken up the mantle of "bitchiness” which was always attributed to the fairer sex.

Female prime ministers now and in the past around the world and female premiers in Australia are proving they are more than capable of running the ship.

Alas, we have just lost the one who would have sorted the males out with just one look.

Maybe a comeback could be on the cards?
