BILL Shorten says he will lift the minimum wage?
He is dreaming and misleading gullible voters because he can't do it.
He says the election will be a referendum on wages because pay rates are not keeping up with company profits.
He says the Fair Work Commission would share priorities to fix it.
This is laughable as Canberra cannot force the independent umpire to do anything.
Here we are two months from an election and Shorten is unable to tell us how he will change the law.
They have raised hopes to the point that changes to the Fair Work Act as passed by his predecessors Gillard and Rudd is the only way to tell the regulator to lift the minimum wage.
Would Labor restrict the lift in wages to the 200,000 workers on the minimum wage?
Would he ensure the changes flow on to the two million workers on industrial awards?
Has Shorten worked out how much it will cost and who will pay?
I think not.
Morrison should be able to shoot down this election promise in pieces.
Wake up people before it is too late.
Shorten is bluffing you.
