With some talk about a gradual return to the office it’s had me thinking of the pros and cons of working from home.

WITH some talk about a gradual return to the office it’s had me thinking of the pros and cons of working from home.
I’ll set the scene for you of my home office set up.
It’s a desk in my bedroom, scattered with notepads, pens, my diary and physical address book – because I haven’t made that obvious step to a digital address book.
I didn’t take to working from home immediately, but I must say it is growing on me.
All-day access to the cupboard and home kitchen is probably the biggest plus for me as a snacker who enjoys a pretty constant flow of coffee and tea throughout the day.
Background music has become the norm – with the genre changing throughout the day.
I usually start with indie tunes in the morning before really ramping up the tempo by the mid afternoon.
I doubt the playlist would be widely appreciated by colleagues sharing an office though.
But there are a few things I’ve missed while working from home.
It’ll be nice to be able to bounce ideas off others for stories and headlines again.
A bit of separation between home and work life wouldn’t go astray right now too.
I’ll give up the access to snacks and my dodgy playlist for that.
