Fired up over money for cathedral as millions struggle

It is a sickening and disgusting indictment on the priorities of the Western world when $1.2 billion can be raised to restore Notre Dame Cathedral.

IT IS a sickening and disgusting indictment on the priorities of the Western world when $1.2 billion can be raised within 24 hours to restore Notre Dame Cathedral.

Meanwhile millions of people worldwide are displaced from their countries, homeless and living on the streets.

They are going hungry or starving to death.

They are lacking basic health needs or dying due to the unaffordability of much-needed medical research.

The question needs to be asked.

Can the billions be better spent?
