A NEWBORN humpback whale has washed up on Fraser Island this morning.
Popular Facebook page I got bogged at Inskip Point discovered the whale deceased earlier today and shared images of the whale.
The page advised motorists driving along the beach to be wary of the mammal.
The whale is located 500m south of the 11km sand mining track exit.
