A mystery player who purchased a lotto ticket on the Sunshine Coast has won $1 million in the weekend’s draw. Have you checked your ticket?

The Sunshine Coast has its newest millionaire.

A mystery player who purchased a lotto ticket on the Sunshine Coast has won $1 million in the weekend’s lotto draw.

With no way of confirming who the ticket belongs to as it was not registered to a player card or online account, officials from The Lott are asking residents and visitors to check their tickets in Saturday’s Gold Lotto.

The ticket was purchased at Seasons IGA Caloundra.

The winning numbers were 21, 2, 36, 24, 18 and 1 and the supplementary numbers were 14 and 27.

The mystery player held one of the five division one winning entries across the entire nation, with two wins in Queensland and one each in Victoria, NSW and Western Australia.

Each winner has earnt a huge prize of $1,008,162.52.

Seasons IGA Caloundra store manager Ashlee Withers was ecstatic for the winner.

“It’s so exciting to hear that a local or visitor from the area has won a major prize in the weekend’s draw,” she said.

“I hope our mystery winner checks their ticket soon and comes forward to enjoy their win.

“We will be getting the store fully decorated to celebrate this milestone and to spread the positive news.”

Meanwhile, The Lott spokeswoman Anna Hobdell hoped Sunshine Coast’s latest division one winner checked their winning ticket and came forward soon, exclaiming “our elusive winner is likely starting their week oblivious to their newly minted millionaire status after the weekend’s Saturday Gold Lotto draw”.
