A sailor who arrived from overseas, and more people crossing the border, have been placed into quarantine on the Sunshine Coast for breaching safety checks.
Sunshine Coast District Superintendent Craig Hawkins would not reveal the total number placed into quarantine but said it was "not large".

"We have had some more. Some of them are a result of coming through the border and directed to quarantine," Supt Hawkins said.
"Some have come through the airport with symptoms of COVID-19 and been required to quarantine for the short term until the test negative.
"We had one person who sailed into our ports from overseas who was subject to mandatory 14-day quarantine.
"It's not something you'd expect."
It comes after seven people, including a child, were placed into quarantine last week for flighting into the region from Victoria.
Supt Hawkins said generally travellers had been "pretty good", which allowed authorities to streamline the checking process.
"Certainly our advice given out to go online and complete the border checks have been very helpful," he said.
"And we aren't seeing any flights in from Victoria this week. Which is good co-operation across the board."
