Man in serious condition after near-drowning near Noosa Woods access
Paramedics have rushed a man in a serious condition and a child to hospital after a near-drowning incident near a popular tourist beach.
Emergency services have rushed to a small beach near a popular tourist destination following a near-drowning incident involving a man and a young girl.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said paramedics were called about 1.10pm on Wednesday, December 10 following reports of a near-drowning incident.
An man suffered a period of immersion and was rushed to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition, the spokeswoman said.
A school-aged girl was also taken to the same hospital in a stable condition.
It is believed the incident occurred near the Noosa Woods access to the east of Noosa Heads Main Beach.
