A man has been freed from his car after a crash on a busy road on the Sunshine Coast.

A man has been freed from his car after a crash on a busy road on the Sunshine Coast.
Emergency services were called to a single vehicle crash at 3.17pm on Steve Irwin Way near Landsborough and the Glasshouse Mountain Park Tourist Access.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said a single male patient was trapped inside a vehicle.
Crews were still assessing any injuries.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said three crews were attending the scene.
They said crews arrived at 3.40 and assisted with removing the driver from the vehicle, and they are now in the hands of paramedics.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the northbound lane of the road was closed for the time being.
Traffic along the Steve Irwin Way was reportedly already at a standstill or crawl according drivers on social media before this crash.
Cars had been diverted away from a fatal crash between a caravan and a ute on the Bruce Highway near Nirimba earlier.
