A waterfront house situated in one of Noosa’s most sought-after neighbourhoods has sold for more than 10 times the price it was initially snatched up for 25 years ago.

A stunning waterfront home in a highly sought-after precinct has changed hands for about 10 times its selling price from 25 years ago.
Tom Offermann Real Estate sold the property at 40 Noosa Parade, Noosa Heads for $20.5m before it even made it to auction.
Realestate.com shows the sale was finalised on August 10.
Perched amongst the greats of Noosa Sound, the north-facing home boasts an enviable view of the Noosa River and surrounding bushland.
Real estate agents Nic Hunter and Tiffany Wilson stated in their promotional video the 611sq m home had a “classic Stephen Kidd design” and has been approved for holiday letting, ideal for hosting family and guests.
CoreLogic property data shows the home was built in 1999 and sold that same year for $2m.
Tom Offermann Real Estate posted on their page in April the four-bedroom home was snapped up by eager buyers before it even made it to auction.
Their post stated long-term clients of the agency had spotted a media team and agents taking photos at the property from their own boat.
The buyers reacted quickly and offered a “knockout bid” for the waterfront home, securing their purchase.
