With a lineup consisting of Amy Shark, Ball Park Music and Alt-J, the Groovin the Moo festival on the Sunshine Coast is all set to deliver music fans a Sunday to remember.

It’s the first time the festival has been held on the Sunshine Coast and there are 25,000 people expected to head along to the venue on Sunday.

Just a heads up, the festival is being held at the Western Precinct on 1 Milieu Place in Warana and not at the stadium.

There’s also no parking for the event so attendees are being advised to plan a bus route or a ride in.

The Sunshine Coast Council has advised attendees that there is no parking at the site and encouraged attendees to take the bus on their Facebook page.

The Sunshine Coast Daily caught up with a local artist and bass player who is set to perform at Groovin the Moo with local band Betty Taylor.

Claire Chittick said the Coolum-based band were very excited to be playing in front of their largest crowd to date.

“It’s an amazing opportunity and I’m really grateful for it,” she said.

Ms Chittick said the band had received amazing support since the release of their first two singles.

“It’s been really unexpected how well it has been going,” she said.

“We’ve had so much support, especially here on the coast.”

Ms Chittick said the group had just recorded their next single and that it would be hopefully out in the next few months.

Groovin the Moo kicks off at 11am Sunday April 30 in Kawana.

There is no dedicated event parking at the site and minimal street parking, with Groovin in the Moo buses running from Noosa, Coolum, Maroochydore, Mooloolaba, Kawana, Caloundra and Landsborough station.
