The shock death of a 21-year-old man in a tragic motorbike accident has triggered an outpouring of grief from friends and family, who described the car-enthusiast as “the most genuine person”.

Birkdale man Riley Turton was tragically killed in a motorbike accident in Witta on the Sunshine Coast, late on Wednesday morning, May 21.

Mr Turton’s partner Nicole Paxton described the 21-year-old as the love of her life.

“He is and always will be the kindest most genuine person the world has ever seen,” Ms Paxton said.

“He bought a smile to everyone and was truly the love of my life.”

Ms Paxton said the accident had been caused by a mechanical fault on the motorbike.

“The accident was due to a mechanical failure. He was a safe rider and taught me the love of riding and he will live on forever through all the people he touched,” Ms Paxton said.

“I want to make sure his dreams will come true for him.”

A GoFundMe created by a friend of Mr Turton’s said he “always put a smile on our face”.

“Riley was always the first to help anyone in need. He was always making us laugh and happy to help anyone even if they didn’t treat him the same,” the fundraiser stated.

“He was the most genuine, one of a kind person. He always put a smile on our face and he loved Nikki to the moon and back and would be looking down and smiling.

“I hope that we can come together to help Riley’s dreams live on and in to the future.”

The GoFundMe had already received more than $400 in donations within hours of being published online.

The fundraised money will go towards funeral costs and finishing off Mr Turton’s two project cars for Ms Paxton “so she has them forever”.
