Eumundi worksite fall: Man in critical condition at Sunshine Coast hospital

A man in his 20s is fighting for life in hospital after he fell several metres from a Sunshine Coast worksite roof at a private residence.

A young man remains in Sunshine Coast University Hospital fighting for his life after falling from a roof in Eumundi as more details of the incident emerge.

The man in his mid-20s suffered a severe head injury falling from a worksite roof at a private residence on Sunrise Rd about 11am on Tuesday, July 26 2022.

A Sunshine Coast Health spokeswoman confirmed on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 the young man was in a critical but stable condition after he was rushed to hospital on Tuesday.

A Workplace Health and Safety spokeswoman said they were making inquiries into the incident and it was understood the man had fallen three metres from the roof.

This incident comes after much loved Palmwoods grandad Greg Brown, 54, tragically died after falling from an industrial shed roof in Nambour on July 14, 2022.

The larrikin family man was farewelled at the Palmwoods Hotel by family and friends on July 22, 2022.
