A high-quality professional field of more than 1500 competitors will compete in the event at Mooloolaba on Sunday September 15.
Priority entry for Triathlon Australia members was filled earlier in the week, and general admission only went on sale at 9am today.
Teams entry is still available.
Individual competitors have parted with $325.50 to take part in the event, which incorporates a 1.9km swim, 90km cycle and 21.1km run.
While official details are still to be released, defending world champion and Noosa resident Pete Jacobs could be in the mix as the event is perfectly placed before the World Ironman Championships in Hawaii one month later.
