A child and three adults have been transported to hospital following a four vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway, as police work to redirect traffic in the two lanes affected.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene of a four vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway, at Banya, at 10.32am.
A Queensland police spokeswoman said there were four cars involved and the crash was northbound.
She said it was partially blocking traffic across two lanes and delays were expected.
“Police are on scene redirecting traffic,” she said.
A QAS spokesman said there were multiple paramedic units on scene treating four patients.
He said four stable patients, one child and three adults, were transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital - all with minor injuries.
