Emergency crews have cut an injured middle-aged woman from her car after it flipped on its side in a horror two-car crash on the Sunshine Coast.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said one crew was at the two-car crash at North Arm Yandina Creek Rd and Running Creek Rd at North Arm.

She said the crash was called in at 10am and that one person was trapped in their car.
