NOW is the chance to bust out your best flannelette shirt and let your mullet hang loose for your inner bogan to shine.

Whether you're proud or petrified of the stereotype that plagues Australia, there's never been a better excuse to embrace our larrikin ways.

Suncoast Entertainment Services and Mix FM are calling on the Coast's biggest bogans to raise funds for Give Me 5 For Kids.

The all-buzzers trivia event is apart of Mix FM's annual, month-long campaign to support the children's charity.

Radio announcer Caroline Hutchinson is hosting the game show and said it was important the station used its platform for good.

"We are really lucky that we have a microphone to get our message out,” she said.

"Our aim is to not only look after sick kids, but their families as well, by making sure the services at our public hospitals are the best in the country.”

Ms Hutchinson said the event was an opportunity to remind parents of sick children that the community would rally behind them.

"They get to hear how loved their kids are and how we appreciate that other families are doing it tough,” she said.

"We not only raise money, we put our arms around families with sick kids and they hear that the community cares.”

The crew at Mix FM can't wait to don their stubbies and thongs for the night.

"We firmly believe that charity shouldn't hurt, it should be fun,” she said.

"We can't want to dress up like bogans.”

Suncoast Entertainment manager Bart Crowd said he wanted to team up with Mix FM due to a personal experience.

"Our son went to hospital and we saw first-hand how difficult it was, so he was the inspiration for us to find a charity to support,” he said.

Mr Crowd said their company wanted to set their moral compass in the right direction and give back to the community.

"We just feel that Give Me 5 For Kids is a fantastic charity to be associated with here on the Sunshine Coast and each year the crowd smashes it out.”

The Give Me 5 For Kids Bogan QuizzaMe Charity Event will be on June 20, from 6-9pm at the Maroochy Surf Club.
