Driver crashes through roundabout in wet conditions

POLICE are urging drivers to be careful on slippery, wet roads after a woman crashed at a busy intersection this morning.
Emergency crews were called to a roundabout at the junction of David Low Way and Podargus Parade at Peregian Beach about 7.40am.
A police spokeswoman said it appeared a car had crashed through the roundabout.
Paramedics treated the woman at the scene and she did not need to go to hospital.
