Forecaster Rosa Hoff said the rain would be a threat every day from a combination of factors.

Ms Hoff said the rain would come from the east today through coastal showers then a rainband from the west on Wednesday and Thursday before shifting back from the east on Friday.

“It means there will be rain around every day, just from different directions,” Ms Hoff said.

“Winds are shifting more easterly and pushing showers in towards the Coast, it will pick up today.

“There will be patches of sunshine and quite a bit of cloud too.”

Ms Hoff said the showers would remain a “high chance” each day until Monday.
