STANDING four foot and weighing more than four kilograms, Kai Mason's "giant" Easter bunny is so large it beggars belief.
The Twin Waters youngster took out first prize in the Noosa Chocolate Factory's inaugural Easter colouring-in competition and was clearly delighted to do so.
Mother of the nine-year-old, Sheree, said Kai dedicated a lot of time and effort into his winning effort.
"He put in an amazing effort, lots of love went into his colouring," she said.
"Kai loves his art and wanted to win. He even made the bunny's teeth sparkle and hand drew a tiny little chick as well."
"His older brother Rio cheered him on too."
Kai has agreed he "might" share the prize with his family. A normal Easter break at the Mason household is a family lunch, beach and plenty of chocolate.
Mrs Mason said they were going "OK" despite the coronavirus pandemic.
"The kids did struggle a bit with all the changes to the community, but we have adapted now," she said.
