Sunshine Coast students and parents marked the first day of school for 2023.

Tears were flowing for some and there were plenty of smiles as parents and children marked the first day of school for 2023.

It was a milestone moment as the class of 2023 prep classes began their schooling journey.

Plenty of youngsters left the arms of their parents to make new friends and kick-off their education and Sunshine Coast Daily was there to capture it all.
