Whether a classic car, rustic truck, or a luxury black helicopter, Pacific Lutheran College senior students made grand entrances at their formal yesterday.
More than 70 Pacific Lutheran College students showed up at the event at the Sunshine Coast Turf Club on November 18 where they were greeted by peers, friends and, family as they graced a red carpet on arrival.
Sunshine Coast Grammar School, and Caloundra Christian College also celebrated their formals this week.
Pacific Lutheran College students Cody Proeger and Kaitlin Brown turned heads when a helicopter soared above and touched down at the event.
Mr Proeger said he chose his spectacular form of transport because he simply didn't want to take a car like everyone else.
“I just thought I‘d do something different,” he said.
Ms Brown said she was flattered by the gesture, saying she was “very impressed”.
