A young man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after a workplace incident involving machinery at the Sunshine Coast Industrial Park near Caloundra.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokeswoman said the man was taken in a serious but stable condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The spokeswoman said the man, aged in his 20s, sustained significant leg injuries after the 3.15pm incident at a workplace off Ron Parkinson Cres, Corbould Park.
An Office of Industrial Relations Queensland spokesman said the incident would be investigated with an inspector en route to the workplace.
It comes after a toddler was rushed to the same hospital on Monday afternoon after falling into a pool at a Buderim property.
