The former director of a Sunshine Coast shed company, which collapsed owing more than $1m in debt, has shocked creditors by offering “bankruptcy and liquidation trauma support” online.

The shed company, Dynasty Property Developments Pty Ltd, which was directed by Sunshine Coast couple Kathleen Hansen and Trent William Shaw, entered liquidation on May 7, 2024.

Ms Hansen’s company, Bawws Digital Media and Business Solutions Pty Ltd, which traded as Bubba Cloud, was also placed into liquidation.

A report by liquidator, David Stimpson, last month revealed the company was estimated to owe approximately $1.13m in debt to more than 40 creditors.

A number of Dynasty’s former clients were hit with defamation letters, demanding payment of $20,000, after they took to social media to share their experiences with the company.

The counselling company, After Hours Trauma Hub, is advertised online, offering services such as “liquidation and bankruptcy trauma support” and “bullying and harassment trauma support”.

The manual for the counselling service, seen by this publication, describes a mental health professional, Trent William Hansen, as having experience with company liquidations/bankruptcy due to the collapse of three companies earlier this year.

“Social media and news outlets smear campaign over business loss - destroyed three of our companies and the charity we founded in 2024,” the manual stated.

An image on the business site also shows Mr Shaw standing among a group of people.

The Australian Business Register lists Trent William Shaw as a Sunshine Coast-based sole trader, stating he reactivated his ABN in May 2024 after it was cancelled in 2013.

One creditor of Dynasty Property Developments, Adam Connolly, said he and his wife were upset when they discovered the counselling business, realising the phone number provider matched one provided to them by Dynasty Property Developments.

“It is absolutely disgraceful that he is able to do what he is doing,” Mr Connolly said.

“My wife and I have been through absolute hell over the past six months.”
