The weight of a Sunshine Coast mum's cancer battle has been made a little lighter thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community support.

Erinn Bakes was diagnosed with hodgkin's lymphoma - a rare blood cancer - last year and underwent extensive chemotherapy for eight months before she went into remission.

But her relief was short-lived. The cancer returned after just a few months.

The latest diagnosis means Ms Bakes will undergo another high-risk biopsy and if all goes well she will endure another round of chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant.

Earlier this year, a GoFundMe raised almost $7000 to help with the costs of Ms Bakes' second fight for life.

The money also went towards the 29-year-old and her partner Beau's dream of having a second child.

When Ms Bakes was diagnosed, the couple thought they wouldn't be able to complete their family.

They recently underwent three cycles of IVF, but sadly none were successful.

Ms Bakes said they haven't lost hope, and are aiming to complete more cycles of IVF next year.

This week, a raffle for the young family backed by Sunshine Coast businesses has launched and is offering three prizes worth thousands of dollars.

Ms Bakes told the Daily it was amazing to see so much support from a community her family had only lived in for about a year.

"We really appreciate that. We only just moved to the Coast at the end of last year so I could be closer to the hospital where I was getting treatment," she said.

"I can't work so my partner's trying to cover everything.

"I can't drive so he's often got to take days off work to take me to hospital."

The raffle will run until November 29, with winners to be announced early next month.

"We're hoping the money will help with loss of income, having to do IVF and the travel and treatment," Ms Bakes said.
